Rev. Cindy Shellum

Rev. Cindy Shellum

Senior Minister

My purpose is to teach the tools, support the activities and love the process by which divinity is revealed in the individual.

Rev. Cindy Shellum

Before I walked into my first Religious Science service, I only had my personally concocted belief system and a jumble of questionable information from traditional Christianity. The Science of Mind gave me a practical, logical and instantly recognized context for my innate knowing about Spirit. It introduced me to the Universal Truths discovered by mystics and philosophers throughout time. I discovered I am not weird and my beliefs are not wacky! This world is not separate from God and there is nothing to fear. I am not and cannot be alone. Neither can you!

The life-changing philosophy we share at Greater Orlando Center for Spiritual Living, supports us in living from our authentic Truth. This community of loving, likeminded people on a path of understanding themselves and their place in the Universe helps negate the outer appearance of separation and fear that bombards us all every day.

I invite you to find a spiritual home in the practical teachings and warm embrace of Greater Orlando Center for Spiritual Living. This is the field where the purpose shared under my picture plays out. I already know you as a divine emanation bringing Spirit into form. Allow me to help you see it too!

Staff Minister

My purpose is to teach the community how the Laws of God and the laws of man intersect and how they are to be understood.

Staff Minister

As outreach minister I will lead the Spanish Language Spiritual Living Circle which hopes to attract those most comfortable using Spanish as their principle language.

As a lawyer and professor I will publish articles on how governmental laws, both state and local, that effect an individual’s right to practice their faith without governmental interference.

I have been writing articles about how the courts have decided issues of religious freedom either an establishment of a religious view or a prohibition of religious freedom i.e. abortion, LGTBQ education, transgender treatment, even immigration policy.

Jesus was challenged when asked if Jews should pay taxes    his reply,   “give unto Ceasar what is Caesars and unto God what is Gods’   Matthew 22:21 Luke 20:25 Mark 12:17
How is our community or any community to know what is Caesars, rightfully?  I take this parable to justify a ministry about explaining exactly this point.
I can assist people in understanding what is Gods and our individual rights vs what are government   limitations. With this  I am contributing something unique and valuable
