Rev Martin Preston

Rev Martin Preston

Senior Minister

My mission is to awaken people to their spiritual magnificence.

Martin was born into a long line of ministers in Indianapolis, IN. Growing up, he became interested in music, magic, and the performing arts. (He was definitely NOT interested in becoming a minister!)

Martin graduated with honors from Oakland City University, with a major in social science and a minor in music. Having worked his way through school as a performing magician and pianist, he decided to continue working as an entertainer instead of pursuing a more “normal” career.

Over the next three decades, Martin enjoyed performing in theme parks, casinos, performing arts centers, on cruise ships, and as a guest soloist with many major symphony orchestras’ Pops programs throughout the United States and Canada.

A search for answers to life’s problems led Martin to a study of successful living and Positive Psychology. Having determined to his own satisfaction that there is power in belief, he wondered: “Why does this work? Why does the Universe respond to my belief?”

Martin eventually found his answers in the Science of Mind, which is a faith, a philosophy, and a way of life, informed by the discoveries of science, the opinions of philosophy, and the revelations of religion.

Shortly after discovering the Science of Mind, Martin began a deep dive into the spiritual laws and practices which govern our lives. In 2011 he left show business to become the minister of the Center for Spiritual Living Florida Gulfcoast. After serving there for 12 years, he answered the call to become Senior Minister of the Greater Orlando Center for Spiritual Living.

Martin enjoys helping people discover the Power for Good which they can use to enhance every area of their lives, and he’s excited to help people realize that they are so much more than they have ever imagined!
