Living from the Awareness of Spiritual Unity
At the heart of all spiritual truth lies a simple and liberating realization: There is only One Life. One Presence. One Intelligence. One Power. In the Science of Mind, this is not poetry or philosophy — it is a spiritual principle upon which everything else rests.
We do not live in Life. We live as Life.
Ernest Holmes stated it simply and powerfully:
“There is One Life, that Life is God, that Life is perfect, that Life is my life now.”
This is not a metaphor. It is a statement of spiritual fact. There are not many lives competing in a divided universe. There is One Life expressing Itself in infinite ways.
Unity Is the Truth of Being
If there is truly only One Life, then separation is not a spiritual reality — it is a belief. We may experience ourselves as separate, but Spirit does not. The ocean does not divide itself into separate waters because of the many waves. The waves are simply movements of the One ocean.
In the same way, we are not separate beings trying to find our way back to God. We are individual expressions of God, already immersed in the One Life.
This understanding changes everything.
When we know that the same Life that beats our heart beats every heart…
When we realize that the same Intelligence that formed the stars is forming our thoughts…
When we recognize that the same Love that holds the universe holds us…
…our sense of isolation begins to dissolve.

There is One Life, and that Life is my life now.
I live in unity with all that is.
I release every belief in separation and rest in the truth of Oneness.
The same Love, the same Intelligence, the same Power lives in me and as me.
I walk in harmony, wholeness, and peace.
And so it is.
