Edgar Rivera RScP
Edgar Rivera is a Practitioner, a retired banker, a health and wellness entrepreneur, husband, father to a son and daughter, and grandfather to 14 delightful souls. He was a very involved Catholic for many years, educated in New York City Catholic Schools from grammar school through college.
In the Spring of 2003, after the sudden death of his wife of 27 years, he attended a service at Mile High Church near Denver, Colorado. At that very first service, he realized he no longer needed to massage the teachings of Catholicism, the teaching he was now hearing supported his growing spirituality. He found a home in what was later to be called Centers For Spiritual Living. Every year since then he took classes and attended lectures given by some of the best known people in the New Thought/Ancient Wisdom arena, culminating in his earning his Practitioner Certification in 2016.
Edgar met Patrice in 2005 at a 5-week home study course, “Adventures in Faith,” where she was the Practitioner facilitating that group. He was impressed with her intellect, spirituality, compassion, sensitivity, sense of humor and quick wit. It didn’t hurt that she was darn good looking too! They married on 11/11/11 (the 6th anniversary of their first date) at 11:11a m, barefoot, on a beach in Puerto Rico. Patrice and Edgar sold their Denver home right after he completed his Practitioner training, bought a motorhome and toured the USA coast to coast visiting the CSL closest to where they were on Sundays. What a tremendous experience! They now live in their home in Port St John, Florida.
