Affirmative Prayers for Guidance and Wisdom

In Proverbs, King Solomon tells us of the words that his father, King David, said to him: “Wisdom is the principal thing, therefore get wisdom, and with all thy getting, get understanding.”

And Ernest Holmes tells us, “Unity with God is the beginning of Wisdom.”

I invite you to turn within, recognizing the Allness of the Divine, that which creates the Universe – in Wisdom, the stars, the planets, the solar system, the galaxies – the universe, and beyond – God expressing through Wisdom, that which we enjoy as our universe of life. For us to recognize that God is All Wisdom, and since Spirit is everywhere present, that Wisdom that Spirit is, is available to me right now. And as I pray, I invite us each to identify with the words that I am saying. That all the wisdom that there is, is available to me right now, for whatever endeavor I have in mind, that the Wisdom that does create and sustain everything, is ready to create and sustain for me.

I unify with that. I know that since Spirit is all Wisdom and everywhere present, that Wisdom is present right here, right now, right where I am. And so, for whatever effort I have before me, I claim that Wisdom of the Divine. I claim it as Wisdom, Intelligence, Guidance, knowing that Spirt within me is the Eternal Guide, guiding me in every decision – to making the right decision. Divine Wisdom works through me and I am protected from making mistakes.

In my education, career choices and on-the-job decisions, the Wisdom of the Infinite informs every moment of my day. In knowing that I live in an Abundant Universe and in wise spending and giving of that which I have been given, I know that Wisdom shows up in my knowing that Abundant Universe, and knowing that I live and move and have my being in that Divine Universe – and that I am guided to spend that which comes to me, to give that which comes to me — with wisdom, knowing that the Highest and the Best is always the outcome.

In human interactions, I claim Wisdom in my life, knowing that in rearing my children, with my significant other, with family members and with friends, my owning of that Wisdom which flows through me blesses all those interactions. I am guided in the decisions that I make in the teaching of my children, in knowing the highest and the best unfoldment in their lives, whether they are pre-teens, babies or adults, knowing that the Wisdom of the Infinite flows through them as well. I give thanks for it and I am at peace. I know that my interactions with the ones I love the most are guided and guarded by the Wisdom of the Infinite. I make wise choices in the words that I say, the feelings that I have, the interactions in every present moment.

I give thanks for the Wisdom that is available for my physical body and its functions, the Wisdom in helping me make the best food choices and exercise that I love, in the perfect functioning of each and every cell, tissue and organ of my body. I claim that Divine Wisdom to be flowing through me, through the thought processes, through the feeling nature that I enjoy in this life, knowing that the Wisdom that flows through me is straight from the Divine. Wisdom of the Infinite, the Intelligence, the Guidance is forever mine.

I give thanks that this is true, I give thanks that it is true in the very things that are before me today, in the processes and the challenges that I would choose to use as learning processes today, knowing that the highest and the best is forever unfolding.

How grand it is to speak my word in faith believing, knowing that as I align my ideas with the Truth of Being, that the very same Power that creates and sustains the whole universe is flowing through these ideas, bringing them, with ease, into manifestation – in every present moment. I know that as I release these words into the Law of Mind that I have done my part by knowing and believing the Truth of Being, the Truth of Wisdom. I hand it over to that Law which creates everything, to create in Wisdom, in Joy, in Peace, in Beauty, in Love. And so it is.
